Brandon Holley

Brandon is a co-owner and coach at TrueFIT Athletics. He’s always enjoyed competition yet it wasn’t until he started Jiu Jitsu, that he began taking fitness seriously. While training a friend for an MMA fight, he discovered CrossFit and it’s many techniques. This eventually led him to Hocking College where he studied Fitness Management and met his future business partner, Jimmy.

As a coach, Brandon loves to build confidence within his clients. “I can personally attest to how CrossFit has positively changed my life. So I know how powerful it can be.”

Jimmy Barnes

James, aka Jimmy, is a co-owner and coach at TrueFIT Athletics. Shortly after college, he was introduced to CrossFit when he applied for a coaching position at a local box. He immediately fell in love with the training and fitness community. A year later, the gym closed and James decided to take matters into his own hands by opening his own facility – TrueFIT Athletics.

Prior to CrossFit, James’ training background included wrestling and weightlifting. He also hiked the tallest Mountain Summit in the lower 48 states. In recent years, he’s participated in several CrossFit competitions, which have allowed him to stay sharp and challenged. “I’m passionate about building an amazing CrossFit Community. Seeing people go through the same growth and accomplish the same things I did, is the most rewarding experience ever.”

Ashley Creighton

I am originally from Marion, Ohio. From the beginning, I have always been a performer & have had a passion for health and fitness. At a young age I started my journey with dance. I did that from the time I was 5 years old until I was a senior in high school. During that period of time, I was able to experience some pretty amazing & unforgettable things. I did a lot of dance competitions and once even performed the nutcracker with the Russian ballet.

During our time in NYC we got the opportunity to perform on Broadway and then be featured on The Today Show. Talk about an amazing experience!

One of my most memorable moments during my time of dance was when I got the chance to audition for the TV show So You Think You Can Dance. After high school, I moved to Columbus, Ohio where I met my husband Josh. We have two awesome little boys named Kayden & Kamryn.  After some time in Columbus we moved to Lancaster, and have loved every minute of it. After some searching I found TFA. I have been doing CrossFit for about 4 years. I enjoy doing CrossFit competitions and I especially love seeing people meet their fitness/nutrition goals.

TFA is my 2nd family & I’m so glad to be apart of it.

Shannon Nash

Shannon is an experienced coach who specializes in nutrition as well as pre-and post-natal fitness. She started her athletic career as a youth throughout high school and college. “I always won the ‘Most Improved Player’ awards, which I think speaks to my willingness to work hard.” Shannon’s desire to evolve is what led her to CrossFit.

“I found CrossFit at a time when I was severely insecure and unhappy. Initially, I was terrified of training, because everyone else seemed so confident and athletic. But I kept showing up, I put in the work, and over time I finally felt like an athlete.” Today, as a certified coach, Shannon’s mission is to help other athletes feel that same pride and power.
